He had a chance and didnt hit. He needs to play everyday, so this is a good move. Im sure he will be back up in due time. Kid just needed more time in the minors.

i know brantley is struggling, but dont the indians have anyone else in the farm systems to bring up other than the KING of K , the maestro of miss, the wizard of whiff aka russel branyan.

NO ONE in the farm system is going to provide what Branyan brings (Possibly...if he is in last years form) and that is 25+ HRs and 65+ RBI. Brantley COULDVE been more useful because of Branyans average and Ks, but because he isnt hitting we dont get to utilize the skills he has an advantage on Branyan, aka...his speed.
Im interested to see what Russell can bring this year and where he hits. Does he replace Hafner in the clean-up spot. Does he hit 5th making 4 lefties in a row? Does he hit behind Peralta in the 6th hole?
