Pawlenty Couldn't Win His Home State
A new St. Cloud State University poll finds that President Obama would handily beat Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) in his home state, 49% to 40%, if they were to face off in the 2012 presidential race.

This isn't good news for the of the front-runners for the 2012 Republican Nomination

How bout we wait until 2011 to worry about the freaking 2012 election. This is another thing I hate about politics. They never stop campaigning. It's stupid.

What year is it? 2009, oh yeah. What year is the election? 2012, oh yeah.

I could care less.

It is early and meaningless but I am not surprised by the polls. I don't think Pawlenty is the answer in 2012 anyway.

You're shocked that a state that hasn't gone GOP since 1972 won't start now? Minnesota didn't even vote for Reagan, its one thing against their own guy even if he was a stiff, but against the idiot Carter?

Gore didn't win his homestate either.
