I'd say that garbage dump is a perfect setting for our esteemed leader.

True. It's also good that since POTUS is now the the de facto CEO of GM, BHO can conveniently check-in with his UAW brethren while touring the dump.

Fitting place for him to speak.

Seriously though, as I heard on one radio program, Michigan is the test tube for Democrats' economic experiments, and it has been the model of failure for some time now. D's have been running that state for decades, and they keep on raising taxes and unemployment keeps going up, and their solution is to keep electing Democrats.

Ted Nugent (of all people) expressed his thoughts on his home state back in August of 2009:

Just thought it was funny that a crazy, guitar-igniting, classic-rock legend can figure out what's wrong with Michigan's economy, but career politicians can't (or they have figured it out, they just can't bring themselves to go against the party's Ten Commandments of Raise Taxes, Raise Taxes, etc.).

I like Ted Nugent. The basics of what he says I believe in myself... although maybe not in such a hyper way as he conveys it LOL!
From the article:
The most basic of economic truisms is that a government cannot tax, spend or borrow its way to prosperity.
Is there a good argument to that?

One of my all-time favorite Nugent Nuggets:
