Jason Marquis started for the Nationals and recorded ZERO outs, gave up 4 hits, 1 BB and 7 ER.....Miguel Bautista came in a gave up the grand slam to Counsell.

It's always nice when the starting pitcher knocks in a run before he gets to throw a pitch off teh mound.

Good NEWS for Nationals' fans. Even though they are down 10-0...they have Willie Taveras leading off for them.

with his stellar .176 OB% (not important I guess)

he just whiffed for the 1st out.....probably trying to hit a 10 run HR

Marquis' ERA slid up a few points to 20.52

Good thing this wasn't his first start of the year, an ERA of infinity would have been rough.

Not what the Nats were hoping for thus far out of Marquis.

Pudge has been great though.

Make up for the 8-0 bashing the Nats put on yesterday.
11-7 in the top 9.

On another note, the Nats haven't been that bad this year.
