There was a little scrum in front of the Heat bench and Garnett threw an elbow at Richardson and hit him in the mouth. If any other player did they would be suspended for multiple games. I'm sure KG won't miss any time though, so no worries.

All I saw was what Garnett said (which was shown during HT of the current Denver-Utah game). He admitted that he should have used his head, but essentially blamed everything that happened on Miami because he was just concerned about his teammate.

Wow I love it...... Seriously if it were ANY other team everyone would just be saying he was just defending his teammate who was on the ground w/ a shoulder stinger.... Richardson and Pierce have a little bit of a history the past few years and Q-Rich had NO reason to do what he did and and I LOVE what KG did...... So you cavs are telling me that if LeBron was laying on the ground and while a teammate was over him trying to see how he was doing and a player from the other team (say Pierce who is a known rival of LeBrons's) started to creep up and start some nonsense you wouldn't want your teammate to back him up.... PLEASE.... Richardson should have gotten a Tech as well & Glen Davis did nothing to deserve a tech he was the one that got pushed by Jermaine O' Neal....


And Pierce has had been battleing this shoulder stinger all year... he even said in the post-game interview that it just went numb for a couple minutes....

osu, KG is throwing cheap shots.

Its fine to get in someone's face especially if he is talking to your teammate, I don't have a problem with that. But when you throw blatant elbows it becomes a problem.

I agree whole heartedly that players should come to their teamates aid. But to maybe shove them out of the way or basically bear hug them to keep them away. Not elbowing someone in the face. Garnett takes things way too far.

I doubt the league suspends him, but who knows... ANYTHING IS POSSIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEE

LOL. That's what you saw? LOL. Don't worry about the elbow. Garnett won't be suspended. This is the last year he will be playing in the playoffs. The league will give them every opportunity to extend their run.

So a Shoulder Stinger causes you to lay on the ground for 10 minutes like someone literally shot you?

Paul Pierce is officially the biggest pussy in the NBA, he just by passed Wade in that was something I never thought I'd see.

I have no problems with KG stepping in for a teammate, but he's the one who got physical first, then throw some bows and ran away.

Yeah that's what I saw because that's what happened..... Seriously I don't expect anyone on this site to agree because of the hatered towards KG, Pierce, Rondo, Ray, Perk ect.... Have you ever had a shoulder stinger? That thing hurts like a bitch..... And it happened right in front of the Miami bench, KG got his shots in because they were well deserved due to Richardson being a jackass and he got out of the Miami bench area before anything else happened... It's all good though since probably 99% of this site is either Cavs/Lakers fans so I'm wrong of course... I'm just proud of our Defense from the middle of the 3rd Quarter on... THAT was the D we saw 2yrs ago and Tony Allen & Big Baby were huge tonight as well...
