Between 11:00am this morning and 1:00pm in the afternoon, a xbox 360, 7 games, 3 controllers, a wireless adapter for the xbox, a playstation 3, 1 controller, 4 games, and over 200 dvd's were all stolen from the living room of my apartment. The door wasnt locked and i was asleep, 2 of my roomates were in their rooms asleep when it all went down, neither of them heard anything. Just got done filing the police report. Just a little pissed off that it happened.

Damn dude...that sucks.

I always tease my fiancee because she locks the door behind her every time she walks into the house.

But after hearing this, I'm gonna start doing the same thing.

yeah man it just sucks it happened in broad daylight. the door was locked until about 1100am, and the two kids were awake and in their rooms. i still dont understand how someone moved all that shit without one of my roommates hearing anything lol.

call Sony/Microsoft and report the consoles stolen. they can probably render them fairly worthless if they are connected to the internet.

also, call pawn shops.

Sounds like an inside job also. Why were the doors unlocked at 11am all of a sudden?

the doors were unlocked because my girlfriend left at 11am to go to work. and i live on the corner of norwich and waldeck on ohio states campus. and my girlfriend was not in on the job haha, she bought me probably about 20 of my dvds

Thats how she broke up with you! Boom.

That really, really sucks though. Luckily for me my front door is so ghetto it has to be locked 24/7 for the door to even remain shut.

Interested as to why you said it "finally" happened. Were you expecting it to happen? Do you not trust your roommates or their friends?

Thats a lot of stuff to move without anyone hearing or seeing anything not to mention the time it took to get some of it unplugged and loaded up and carrying it all out and in the middle of the day.
