If Gradkowski is starting over Russel then he has to be one of the biggest busts ever

Good for Bruce, but I dont know which is worse:

-Gradkowski couldnt beat out Russell
Or
-Russell lost his job to Gradkowski

I wish Bruce would get a shot on a good team for a change. He was such a good player at Toledo and needs to get into a better situation than the Raiders.

This is funny. His work ethic wasn't good at LSU, so naturally he fits right in with the Raiders.

its about time. i thought it was funny how he was blaming everyone else for his piss poor passing a few weeks ago. i would start Quinn/Anderson over Russell anyday.

ya i agree the raiders may be the only team whose qb situation is worse than the browns in the NFL but they atleast have a running game

Gradkowski is unbelievably bad. This just speaks remarkable volumes for Russell.

JaMarcus has put himself in this position by being lazy, unmotivated and simply not receptive to scrutiny of his game. Gradkowski may not be the best quarterback in the world, but he does actually resemble one when he is in the pocket. If Oakland can get some receivers to hang on to the ball, they might have a decent offense. They really are just one good quarterback and one solid receiver (hopefully Murphy or Schillens can take this role) from being a very complete team.

They need to get a win this week so the loss next week doesn't affect their lead in the AFC North.:D

This gives the Raiders a chance!

They might as well just line McFadden up at QB and run the wildcat with him, Fargas, and Bush. Oakland has garbage for WR's, anyway.

Good to see a former Rocket getting his shot.

I saw this tweet the day it happened: "Russell benched for Gradkowski...Guess Oakland will need to reinforce the benches"

I don't care who the Raiders start, as long as the Bengals win the game...I hope the qb switch doesn't give the Raiders a spark.

I'm a big Bruce fan, but he doesn't have what it takes to beat Cincy. He's never had any weapons around him and it seems he always has to play against one of the best defenses in the league. He will make some plays outside of the pocket but he will throw a few picks too.

I like Gradkowski because he's from Pittsburgh but he is a terrible NFL quarterback.

Congrats Bruce! Good luck tomorrow.

Bush would do a lot of damage from the wildcat formation.
