change your password to letters, numbers, and symbols.
Hence, spartan300 is not a secure password by any means. But $part@n300 is.
I've seen people using their middle name of their second kid and year of birth.... it would take a hackers program minutes to figure that out with just letters and numbers. Even worse was a girl I know had a password of 654321.
