Sorry if this is a duplicate thread, I don't see one and this story is worth hearing. Nadia Bloom was found yesterday after being lost in the woods for 5 days/ 4 nights near her home in Winter Springs, Fl.
Her mom is answering questions from the media from Arnold Palmer Hospital. A man found her yesterday morning and she is in good condition, just countless bug bites and dehydration. The neighbors really helped during the search. What a blessing. The man who found her was on the morning news networks in New York this morning. Her parents said they were just not ready for that, her mom said she was not leaving Nadia, and she has a newborn. Yesterday they thought she might go home today, but they just said she has a bacteria in her blood and swollen feet and will stay at Arnold Palmer resting and is on antibiotics. The police chief said he didn't believe in miracles until now.

Her street is right on the woods that are on the south side of Lake Jesup, near the 417 toll road. She was found a half mile from her home. Alligators are more aggressive during April/May (mating season). I've been out on my kayak lately on creeks and rivers and Mosquito Lagoon and I'd hate to get stuck for 4 nights.

Why is that whenever a child goes missing, it seems to happen in Florida? I know it did not happen in this case, but it seems almost every child abduction, murder, rape and kidnapping that gets national atttention takes place down there.

When I was surveying, I worked with a guy who was a surveyor in Florida. From the sounds of some of his stories, it's not uncommon for just about anyone to go missing in parts of Florida--not just children. He said he worked with guys at the surveying company he worked for that would be setting pins in a swamp and on occasion someone would get lost in the swamp--some never to be seen again. Which I can understand, I got lost in the woods on more than one occasion while surveying. Thank God for technology or I may have been wandering around Ashtabula county for a few days.
Anyways, cool story. Always nice to hear some good news.

Natalie is on the 'Today' show this morning to tell her story. She spoke at her church last night, she has been back to school for awhile, and is just adorable and captivating.
I don't know if she'll be on the other networks, I'm guessing she will make the rounds. Her parents have been concerned about exposing the children so publicly.

What story is there to tell? She managed to go for a bike ride and got lost.
