Not surprised. This type of shit happens alllllllll the time with teammates. They're still young, horny, college kids lookin to get some stank on their hang low. The girls are no better either. Talk about some sluts. If its hard, and it dates a teammate, they'll eat it up like apple pie.

I agree with jpake, it's really not all that surprising. It's what happened between Gonzo and Troy Smith prior to the National Championship game, although no one got pregnant.

I just had a reunion with my college teammates last weekend, and one guy didn't show because he hates another guy we played with because he tried getting with his girl in college.

Pregnancy and banging girlfriends aside, Scottie Reynolds was the reason for Villanova's egg laying. The dude couldn't throw it in the ocean... and he kept shooting. He was without a doubt one of the worst "most-hyped" players I have ever watched in the tourney.

While this is true, go try playing basketball on the same court as someone who has been fucking your girl. Try having on your mind your GF (who knows, maybe he wanted to marry her) pregnant and it isnt your kid. What if he STILL wanted to be with her and knew to do so hed have to raise a kid of someone he hated.

Upon hearing this, I dont blame Reynold at all anymore.

Yeah, Reynolds was a great player throughout his career at 'Nova and I couldn't figure out what happened that last few weeks of his college career. This explains it.

I always hated Fisher's crackling buckwheat teeth, now I really hate the bastard. Too bad for Reynolds, especially considering his faith and all. He's a good kid. Wright should have suspended Fisher's ass for the good of the team. Me too. I think a legit drinking game could be made out of it. My wheels are turning.

I'm not sure they'd pass to each other less or anything though. Sports are instinct. Everyone has had a teammate that they were really good friends with and ones that were total pricks. I don't think it ever crossed my mind to not pass the ball to the ones that I didn't get along with gthe best. I don't think there would be enough time for Scottie to process, "Corey's open, pass him the ball! Wait, shit! But it's a layup! Ahh I don't know what to do." You see a guy and you make the play you think is correct. IMO at least.

This could all just be a stupid rumor to explain Villanova's poor play though and nothing ever happened. Had they gotten back to the Final Four or something we'd probably never hear anything of it or it'd be an example of great team chemistry
