I just came across this article and was going to post it.

Tiger is followed on every shot with a mike close by. If other golfers were followed as close, I'm pretty sure we would here an occasional outburst of language.

While I'm aware he's criticizing him for a separate issue, a guy who also cheated on his wife should probably just keep his mouth shut about Woods for now.

Of course, this is golf. Where the opportunity to view and present ones self as an elitist should never be ignored.

Jim Nantz is coming across like someone Tiger didnt give his first interview to. Tiger has always acted this way and cursed. He was supposed to be able to drop this behaviorial pattern overnight? Why wasnt Nantz bitching about Tiger anytime in the past 8 years?

Mr. Nantz is a divorced Father because he cheated on his own wife. Jim Nantz STFU!!
Married 50 yr old men leaving their wife and teenage kids for a 29 yr old women should be very careful taking morality stands on anything!!

No shit we never heard Jack swear, he didn't have a mic 4 feet from him. They're just as guilty, if they're getting so many complaints about it, they should pull the mics.

If Tiger had never said anything about toning down his cursing and other outbursts this wouldn't even be talked about. I think it's great if he really does want to change but he probably shouldn't have said it. Now everyone is focused on it more than they would have been.

This. Do we really know what Jack, Arnie and the boys were saying on the course? I know they didnt have mics within earshot of every word they said. It was simply an assinine comparison Jim Nantz made. If anyone should know the difference between now and then with TV coverage, it would be Jim Nantz!! I dont condone what Tiger did with the women, but Nantz is barking up the wrong tree with the cursing.

We know Nantz's beef is with Tiger's marital situation, he just wouldnt say it. Dont throw stones Mr. Nantz. leaving your wife and teenage daughter at 50, for a 29 yr old might come back to haunnt you!!

Perfectly stated.

Nantz is an announcer and should remain just that. Tiger brought about the increased attention, but who doesn't swear on the golf course?

If you play a lot of golf, you will let a swear word slip every now and then. There's a reason they named it golf. Watch the Robin Williams take on golf video.
