ok, so I am in jr high, I do track and we had a meet today against Tri Valley. And we are all waiting for them to show up and at the last minute they decide to call and tell us they are not going to show up. Whats wrong with that?

Absolutely nothing is wrong with that. You will face bigger problems in life.

It's not just Tri-Valley, this sort of thing happened to me several times when I was in high school too. The only difference was that we would drive all the way to the school (both over an hour away), we get off the bus, and they're like what are you doing here? We canceled the game yesterday!"

Yeah, this seems typical with jr high track. Our school had problems with this back in the day.

sounds like some vast miscommunication between all parties involved. Maybe they couldn't field enough athletes to be competitive in the meet

Nothing , but NOTHING, illustrates chaos more so than a middle school track meet.

Who the hell would want to drive to Coshocton anyway??? The town smells like crap, there is nothing to do, and the women are ugly.

I ran middle school track, but never had a meet canceled. You know what would happen though? I'd go home and play video games and not care. And do meth.
