Pretty simple question. I only had ten options so I put the top four seeds in each conference, the better fifth seed (IMO) and an other option.

I like the Devils chances this year. They match up well against Pittsburgh, don't have the goaltending issues of Washington, and are generally an all-around balanced team. I don't trust San Jose (b/c they always choke) and Chicago (b/c they're too young and don't have stellar goaltending either). Detroit will probably challenge for the spot in the finals from the West.

Since I'm sitting in my hotel room in Winnipeg right now it's only proper that I voted for the Coyotes. There isn't a week that goes by without some newspaper article that has them returning to Winnipeg. With all the ownership and public money issues floating around Glendale these days it would only seem fitting that they win the Cup.
Don't get me wrong, though. I'm still rooting for Sid and the Pens to repeat.

The Coyotes have been the feel good story of the year. It's a shame though, that they have to play the Red Wings in the first round.
