TNP will soon be available for the responsible sipping in the U.S. -- but high-alcohol content comes at a high price -- about $53 a bottle.

I'm sure it tastes like shit too, not gonna fly in the US.

I would give it a shot.
I want those Sam Adams Utopias I think I will come off of 1500 in the very near future and get myself a few bottles.

No shit! I'd probably be asleep after 4 of these things... and my wallet would be $200 lighter too!

Precisely. I'm an endurance drinker. If I start putting 'em down at the beginning of the 7:05 p.m. game, I better still be drinking by the time the 10:05 p.m. game ENDS. None of this "passing out because I replaced my beer with straight rubbing alcohol" crap for me again!

I read about this in my All About Beer Magazine. I look forward to trying it.

I gotta try to get in when it hits Kentucky...thanks to this 'Great State' beer laws that limit beer sales to only 12% ABV or less.

The Scots also eat haggis.

Don't trust this beer!

Well I enjoy Corona with a lime, but BL lime is much cheaper... Its like drinking MGD but settling for PBR.

We have sissy beer in the US and we have become accustomed to it. US beer taste like shit normally. Sam Adams is one of the legit mainstream beers.

There's a lot of good American beers, they just don't come from the handful of huge refineries that dominate the top of the sales charts.

Exactly. The US makes the best beers in the world, but they make up a very small percentage of the market.

I don't know if I'd go that far. But there are definitely very good beers made in the US. People need to stop ignoring micro-brews.

Why not? The only other country that I would say competes is Belgium, and the US produces a much wider variety of beers just as good and some better.

SoS,

Perhaps I've already partaken of this beer?

Or maybe those guys in the pic have?
