Cavs really packed it in at the end of this season! No Lebron, Mo, Shaq, Jamison for tonight's game lol! And were about to lose!

No Gibson and DWest got tossed after 21 minutes either. Cavs did not play any defense agaon tonight. Like a pick up street ball game.golf4life2008 wrote: Cavs really packed it in at the end of this season! No Lebron, Mo, Shaq, Jamison for tonight's game lol! And were about to lose!

Meanwhile, CHI cannot lose in OT to NJN if they are thinking playoffs.
That's embarassing.

I always think it's a mistake to rest too much too early. Contrary to what many believe, I think it is very dangerous for a team who is playing well to shut down and "rest" a lot of regulars and start losing games that are an embarrassment to lose. Sometimes a team who does this can't seem to find the "on switch" again and an entire season of excitement can end far too early to an inferior opponent.

There is about a .01% chance that an 8 seed with beat the Cavaliers in a 7 game series.
This isn't like other sports where its one and done. Cleveland will have at a minimum 4 games to shake the rust.
They have been without a main starter at almost every point of the season, they will be okay. This is a very tight knit group that has continued to play well together despite an irregular rotation.

^^Agree. If I were Brownie, I would sit em all out for another game. Then I would focus on playing good ball in the finale....but I wouldn't play anyone over 24 minutes...including LBJ.
Once the playoffs start, it is mentally and physically taxing. The rest has to give the Cavs a further advantage.
BTW....the Cavs are rated a better chance than the Lakers in winning it all this year according to online betting sites.

I agree. I rest the starters on Sunday against Orlando.. Especially AP! dude is like 34 or 35, he should have been next to LeBron against Indy.
If Shaq is healthy, I play the starters around 24 minutes against Atlanta... But nothing too extreme. Those 24 minutes will get them back into a game rhythm and allows them some actual game time to work on the chemistry with everybody healthy.

These games are only meaningful to the fans that paid the tickets to watch them. Lebron is done, until the playoffs.
