It's more likely that a Michigan fan wanted a piece of the new field than it is that someone drove there from Ohio to do it.

As a Michigan fan, I would like a piece of the field like that...just not in that way.

I heard about this on the radio up in Detroit last week.

I would have done it too and put in my house somewhere.

A rival would deficate on the field, but a fan would take it.

The way it was cut makes it look like it was done for a souvenir. I'd think a Buckeye fan would've made it look a little more F-ed up

1) It is funny because it's a rival. It's called sports. Have you ever played them? Or understand the concept of a rivalry? Shit happens like this all the time, especially at the high school and collegiate level.

2) Probably was done by a UM fan for a keep sake, so you can almost disregard #1
