A couple of our cats do that all the time but they aren't that proficient at staying upright that long. We call them the meerkats.

My cats do that from time to time, mainly when the birds are acting up and they feel like they have to monitor them.

I have a cat that flops over on its back and sticks its paws up like a dog for you to scratch its belly. I have never seen a cat EVER want to be pet on its belly like that. He flops down so hard when he does it you can hear the thump from another room. It is hilarious beyond belief.

Yeah, cats don't usually like to be pet on the belly. If I try to pet most of our cats on the belly I get a handful of teeth & claws.

He is unbelievable with it...if you try to pet him on the back he will roll over.
When I come home every day he runs to my feet and flops over. If I dont give him a quick belly pet he will follow me around meowing until I do.

I prefer Keyboard Cat ... I have (sadly) spent hours on this site, usually drunk with friends, just laughing like an idiot. The Chuck Norris one rocks, as does "Keyboard Gato":
