UPDATE: On Twitter, Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Bassie will be on the active list tonight for the first time since joining the Cavs.

--
Since being traded to Cleveland at the trade deadline, Sebastian Telfair has yet to see any playing time for the team. A ruptured groin has been the culrpit.

But with Daniel Gibson and Delonte West out of the lineup against the Bulls tonight with injuries, Bassie could make his Cleveland debut.

"If the doctors say that he can go, then I would activate him," coach Mike Brown told the Akron Beacon Journal. "He's one of those guys you can just throw out there and he'll find a way to get it done."

According to the newspaper, Telfair said recently he's "just about ready to play." Telfair also has played in some pickup games with Cavaliers teammates and assistant coaches.

It's going down!

My thoughts exactly. Bassie is the truth. He and Kid Congo will be holding this team down after next season.

Imagine this starting lineup.

C- Andy
PF- JJ
SF- Kid Congo
SG- Danny Green
PG- Bassie.

They won't lose a game.

Oh snap. I forgot about Zoubek coming out.

He's definitely our C of the Future.

I think if there is any way we could dump JJ and Andy and maybe pick up Zoubek and Omar Samhan, this team would at worst win 79 games.

We'd rest them the final 3.

But our bench which would consist of...

PG- Jon Schyer
SG- Gerald Green
SF- Jared Jeffries
PF- Darko
C- Erick Dampier

Would probably pull out the other three, but I'm just not confident if Darko's ability to carry a 2nd team.

Somehow Rasho Nasterovic needs on our roster. Omar and Z, Jr both need a mentor. Dampier has played in Dallas too long to know what a real Center does.

Man I remember watching that documentary about 5 years ago about Telfair and I thought he would be a beast. Still my all time favorite. Serious

Not our fault you don't find humor in the greatest team ever assembled.

So what's the odds Bad Ass Bassie sees any minutes, even mop up, after April 14th? Obviously it's only 1 game, but guy is a lot quicker than I thought, as well as a better looking shot. Personally doubt he'll see any, but it would have been nice to see him healthy with this team since the All-Star break.

Bassie with 20 so far tonight.

I almost think he needs to see some time after these two games.

Playoff rosters are limited to 12 people I think. Although the players can be shuffled in and out for new series.

James
Jamison
Shaq
Hickson
Varejao
Z
West
Moon
Powe
(Boobie,Bassie,Jawad)

I'd imagine Powe might be swapped out with Jawad. For the 1st round.

It depends and honestly won't really matter too much.

PG: Williams
SG: Parker
SF: James
PF: Jamison
C: Shaq

West/AV/Z/JJ will be the only guys coming off the bench seeing reasonable time. Jamison will play the 3 more in the playoffs.

Mo
AP
LBJ
Tawn
Shaq

West/AV/Z/JJ/Moon/Jawad/Powe

I highly doubt Bassy will be activated, and I'm not sure about Boobie as he hasn't been healthy enough to get minutes now. Obviously Danny Green won't be suiting up in ANY series.

If I'm the coach, the Boobster dresses and the Moon gets eclipsed....and I would keep that roster throughout barring injury.
