I know we werent allowed to do it at our prom or homecomings. Girl i was dating from another school...well.. at her HC you oculd pretty much do anything but have penetration at the dances...

I'm not an advocate of people boning on the dance floor--but it's a joke to make rules about how kids can dance. Sorry older people, but your generation is the one who allowed (in a lot of cases pushed) society to become more perverse. Some of the stuff I remember seeing at prom was really risque. I don't see why kids have a problem keeping it clean for 2 or 3 hours or however long you're there. You can still have great time and not be dry humping somebody all over the dance floor

I think some of you who are "against" this might not know what really goes on at HS proms/homecomings nowadays. Kids are basically dry humping on the dance floor, its more of an adult dance club than a HS occasion.
Sorry, call me "old fashioned" but I'd rather not see teenagers dry humping at a HS event. And I'm "only" 30.

I graduated high school in 2005. I have a sister who is a senior right now. I know exactly what is going on.
It's how they dance, don't have the dance if you don't want to them to do it. These people setting these rules went through the same shit when they were younger and were part of a generation that, as I said, either pushed the perversion or stand by and let it happen. Now they want to bitch? Hypocrites.

No, HS events have stricter rules than what most kids are "doing" for a reason.
It would be different if it was one of the "dance clubs" that had "teen night" like the old Boot Scoot Saloon did back when I was in HS and they were dancing like that at the club. That I would have no big issue with, but at a HS event, you don't allow stuff like that.
Just like you have stricter dress codes in HS than what most of the kids wear around town.

You mean like banning flip flops because you can't run in them during a fire drill. Ignore the fact that they're easily taken off, but what about the fact that you aren't supposed to be running during a fire drill and it isn't practiced as controlled chaotic running either. Do you really just think that through? We were talking moral issues in a school like dry humping and dress codes. So, it should have been quite obvious I was talking about the moral dress codes (aka short skirts/shorts, etc) not some dumb flip flop rule.
