I think I would rather root for a "shitty championship team" that wins it all rather than the amazing team that somehow underachieved and came up short.

1st Round: Arkansas Pine-Bluff (nuff said)
2nd Round: Cal (forgettable Pac-10 team)
3rd Round: Purdue (leading scorer didn't play)
4th Round: Baylor (legit team)
5th Round: West Virginia (leading scorer didn't play, lost Da'Sean Butler in second half)
Finals: Butler (good squad, well coached, but not even top 5 talent in the country)

Conclusion: Duke 2010 = worst champion of the 2000's

I'm sure Duke would gladly be called the worst champion of all time because, no matter what, they're still a champion.

I hate them more than any sports team there is, but they're still the 2010 National Champs, and no one can take that from them.

I thought this was just a very unimpressive tournament with so much underachieving on the big stage. I guess the tournament did truly reflect the mediocrity of this season and how there really was no true powerhouse. All aside, congrats to the Blue Devils for a great season and National Championship.

You've apparently never seen a Butler game before. They're normally like that.

That's not Duke fault. They played who they had to. Its not Duke fault kansas lost to northern iowa, kentucky lost to west virginia or cuse losing to butler.Duke won the games it needed to and are the nationasl champs. Keep on hating people.

This Duke team would beat a couple of the National Champions from 2000-2009.
2000 Michigan St. (32-7)
2001 Duke (35-4)
2002 Maryland (32-4)
2003 Syracuse (30-5)
2004 Connecticut (33-6)
2005 North Carolina (33-4)
2006 Florida (33-6)
2007 Florida (35-5)
2008 Kansas (37-3)
2009 North Carolina (34-4)
2010 Duke (35-5)
The one that sticks out like a sore thumb to me is Maryland in 2002.
