What is the consensus on doing this? Fair use laws say that quoting and commenting on article excerpts falls under fair use.

As long as it is quoting only a section and commenting on it, that should be fine. If an article is posted in its entirety, we can run into problems.

Good! A question that I would have has been answered!
Because I figured that cutting and pasting entire articles was a bad idea, but I wasn't sure about, say, posting a link to an article and cutting-and-pasting a particular line/paragraph I felt particularly noteworthy.
