I love Family Guy, and I know this isn't what this topic is about, but NOTHING touches The Simpsons.. Nothing.

It's a classic, an icon, everything. Family Guy could NEVER live up to what The Simpsons built and accomplished as a series.

Homer is the teacher to the student Peter.

I like Peter because he is the same as Homer, but he is 1000x more ridiculous/crazy....

Family Guy as a whole pushes the envelope much farther than the Simpsons do now/ever did.
