Gallinari also went for 29-8-8....and the Knicks still lost by 11.
Anthony Morrow had the 35 points and 0 assists. Who does that shit?

David Lee is a beast. I'd pay him 11M a year before I'd get somebody like Amare and Bosh for 17M a year.

Too bad they cannot retain Lee and have the money to sign LeBron + another star lol.
Nice work on the contracts there Walsh.

It's good to see something positive about the Knicks. Too bad they still suck.

Impressive, but not all that impressive in that system.
David Lee is a very good player, but sometimes overrated by some.

Bullshit. 37/20/10 is unreal no matter what system you play in.

Especially when you have two teams who just chuck it up at a frantic pace.. Not as impressive as it would be if a guy like Pau Gasol or Andrew Bogut did it..

Ya, considering it's the Knicks (SSOL offense) and Golden State warriors... it's impressive, but not unreal.
If you're a betting guy and see these two teams playing each other... you should always take the over. No matter what it is, the over is what you do. Neither team even pretends to play D.

First player to have a 30-20-10 game in 34 years and yet, "not all that impressive." lol.

I couldn't agree more with this statement. I think Lee is the most underrated player in the NBA and if he ever finds himself on a contendor, he will make a noise for himself.jpake1 wrote: David Lee is a beast. I'd pay him 11M a year before I'd get somebody like Amare and Bosh for 17M a year.

yeah, I dont give a shit what team and system you are in or who you are playing. 30-20-10 is freaking INSANE.

He is very underrated IMO. Whoever 'strikes out' with the like of Amare/Bosh/etc may just end up having a better offseason... if they have money after that. He's more bang for the buck, and doesn't need to be 'da man'. He just needs a pair of sneakers, a ball, and some other dudes to bang with. Everybody knows David Lee is here for the gangbang.

PS.. that is very fucking impressive. I don't give a shit if you're playing REC ball. Not too many players have ever done that.

I said it was impressive.
I, in MY PERSONAL opinion, don't find it as impressive when both teams throw up 120 shots and miss 85 of them.... figuratively speaking, of course..
Like I said, if Andrew Bogut or Pau Gasol or somebody who plays in a system that actually believes in defense, I'd be very impressed.
David Lee would NOT have gotten that triple double if the Knicks weren't playing GSW, just saying.

I read an article on ESPN that says Lee's future in New York depends on what LeBron decides to do this summer.
