This was a topic on sportstalk radio the other day and I thought it was pretty interesting. Which part of the tournament is your favorite, the first weekend where a lot of the upsets happen or the final four where the champion is crowned?

I actually think it might be the regional weekend.

However, I do know the Final Four weekend is the 5th week in a row of amazing hoops.

2 weeks of conference tournaments, 1 week of the first 2 rounds, 1 week of regionals and then the Final Four.

It stinks when this time is over!

Good point....I updated the poll to include regional weekend. You are right though, everything from the conference tourneys to the Final Four is maybe the best time of year.

First weekend without hesitation. It's 8-10 straight hours of basketball every day, loaded with upsets.

Regianal weekend. I think it produces the best games (Sweet 16 round and Elite 8 round).

First weekend in a landslide...at least now, considering the dumbasses in charge are going to fuck up the whole tournament with their stupid idea to let in a lot of mediocre teams.

You get to watch all day and are mostly prevented from seeing bad games, as there are enough going on at most times to give them a good one to switch to. The only danger times are the 5 p.m. solo games Thursday and Friday on CBS College Sports and the noon games Saturday and Sunday. Sunday particularly pisses me off. I can deal with 1-2-3-2 over four segments (even if 2-2-2-2 would have been better), but how the hell is 1-4-3 better than 2-4-2 over three segments? This year's "1" on Sunday was the Syracuse blowout of Gonzaga...yeah, I'm really glad there wasn't another game going on to switch to during then...

Without question it's the first weekend of the tourney that is the best.

haha...this poll is a rout. I wonder if "your" team is in the final four....would that change anything?

My team is in the final four and I chose the first weekend. Its the anticipation, the brackets, the boss button, the noon to ten basketball followed by a weekend of awesome white knuckle basketball.

I like the Final Four this year of course, but on a year to year basis...its the first weekend.
