I have to go with fail...because if you scroll over the thread, you get the first words of the original post, so I saw everything but the pic and knew it was a joke before clicking.

You have to do something like post a quote from a fake article about Carr retiring before doing the April Fools bit if you want to fool people. At least smart people like me!

Really? He is going to retire. I willl miss his witty old school one liners. Great player, great announcer. I hope he enjoys his retirement.
