There is a large enough base of people with a nostalgia for fast food that higher prices don't seem to have much of an affect on.  The marketing dilemma they face is how to hook future customer in this manner.

I foresee a future where AI scans your car when pulling up to the drive-thru, and adjusts the prices accordingly.  Will give rise to the "fast food beater" kept in the garage for runs to McD's.

Nah, your social credit score will determine your price. The better the citizen, the cheaper the meal. Too much wrongthink and your price is higher, if you're even able to buy something. All conveniently linked to your CBDC account.

wendy's is trying to one-up their surge pricing mistake by releasing their worst commercial to date featuring the "employees" singing to da rude's sandstorm

they really need to fire their ad agency. those "dumb employee" commercials are dreadful.

Haven’t seen the Wendy’s commercial but I doubt it’s worse than the Little Caesar’s one where the guy is dressed up like a PB&J sandwich.

Whenever I think of Wendy’s, I think of greasy handprints on the doors, spilled ketchup all over the drink and silverware area, crumbs and food bites all over the floor, piss all over the floor around the urinal, no soap in the bathroom dispenser, hand towels out and wet toilet paper in the floor after having been used to dry hands, a clogged deuce in the toilet, two employees arguing with each other while another looks at his phone.

Weird, I think of the JBC.

Between Wendy’s, BK, and McDonalds the only thing I really love is Wendy’s Chili. And maybe McDonalds breakfast burritos.

I won’t turn my nose up at any of it, but I’m not going out of my way to get a Whopper or especially a Big Mac.

This is just a fast food thread now.

I get McDonald's relatively often (3-6 times a month). The deals thru the app are pretty good most of the time. I typically get a Big Mac and 10 piece, or QPC and 10 piece, because it's usually BOGO for 29¢. I do like McD's breakfast sandwiches, as well. I haven't had BK in a LONG time. Wendy's in quite a while.

Skyline is the only other fast food we do regularly. I have had Arby's twice in the last month or so since it's next door to a brewery we like and we got decent deals thru their app.

I used to love McDonald’s breakfast (still do, but really can’t have trans fat with my generic cholesterol). I miss that. Sure to get it a few times a month; now a few times a year tops.

Of the big 3, Wendy’s has the best top end food, but it’s not consistent even at the same restaurant. McDonald’s is the most consistent thru out any spot in America — and there is something to be said about that. BK can fuck off.

Fair assessment.
