We rented an Airbnb out in a more rural part of town last time. Wife wants to stay downtown this time. She found a nice airbnb for like $81/night right downtown.

The old Woolworth store downtown is a pretty cool local art gallery if you're into such things.

I did enjoy walking around there. The old general store is a good time waster too.

Asheville is much better vacation spot than Charlotte. Just stay there the whole time.

Just booked my trip to Stockholm for 3/18-25. Work trip, but still pretty stoked.

I just pulled an audible and decided to go to Spain for 10 days in August. I originally was planning Romania then Spain, but the flights to Romania are outrageous and I have some friends that will be in Barcelona during the same time.

Round trip flight from NYC to Barcelona Doing DGTL festival in Barcelona over the weekeend, then Mallorca for a few days. Then thinking another city, but not sure where? I've already been to Madrid and Valencia. Do I do another beach coast city, or go inland? Considering Alicante or Marbella. Portugal is also an option, it seems to be trendy hotspot these days. I might just say fuck it and stay in Mallorca for 5 days, place looks amazing.

My girlfriends and I just booked another cruise for November. Just a short five day to Amber Cove and Grand Turk. Yes, I know cruises are bad and lame, etc.

Now I'm just trying to get my husband to pick the dates for the Azores.

Are you subscribed to Scott's Cheap Flights? I just got an email yesterday about deals to the Azores. $400-500ish round trip from the East Coast.

We aren't, but I'll have to check it out. There are some good deals on Groupon. I've never booked a Groupon trip, but have actually heard good things from some friends who have, so we've been doing some research on those.

Never heard of Scott’s cheap flights, will have to follow. I do follow The Points guy.

Anyone ever been to Barbados for more than a cruise stop? Company might have an opportunity there for a couple years that we may explore.

Was there for a week for work (GRC Race/Top Gear Taping). Didn’t see much of the island, but the beaches were gorgeous.

Also recently got the app, Hopper. Wish I knew of this before, great prices if you jump on them when available. I got a notification for a round trip to Barcelona for $540, great price for peak season. Didn't make a move, went up to $950 the next day...fail.

Just booked flights to Stockholm and home from Copenhagen in Late June/Early July. Pretty pumped to see what Northern Europe is all about.

Did you pay attention to that flight that was $540? IE did it take off at like 2 am, have a 40 hour layover somewhere, etc...

Yes, it was legit. Prices have been changing drastically lately. I'm open to a 12 hourish layover if the stop city is desirable. I'm also considering one ways and booking the return from London

Just got back from Miami last night. Work is hard today. :(
