I’m in my first year back of coaching track after 14 years. My school is one of the smallest in the state, we do not have a track. I’m basically on my own with 30 athletes and I also coach the junior high team. I’m completely and utterly worn out from it all….but tonight proved it all to be worth it

Tonight at our district meet with 34 schools participating we won 3 different events to become district champions and we broke 3 district records in doing so. I had a discus girl seeded 14th but she whirled a personal best by 15 feet and qualified for the regionals out of nowhere. I had an 800 kid seeded 10th but he PR’d by 7 seconds to qualify out of nowhere.

One of the most satisfying nights of my life in sports.

Donovan Mitchell will miss game five tonight. How fun. 

I guess every team has to be primetime at least once but we can leave out the Raiders. 

HBO will debut Hard Knocks Offseason on July 2 which follows the New York Giants from January to July. There’s still the Hard Knocks in August which follows a team through actual training camp. 

I mean, I’ll watch it since July is such a wasteland for sports especially since I can’t even watch the shitty Reds anymore.

Just hope they don’t lose the next three by 20+ like the Heat did after they stole game two of that series.

I liked Fallout, looking forward to season two. 

I knocked out A Man in Full on Netflix in about three days. I really liked it.

Should be interesting offseason for Lebron now that Lakers eliminated. He has player option for $51 million which I imagine he takes up. That Lakers team needs a lot of work though. Bronny torn between the draft or transferring elsewhere from USC. 

As someone who’s gotten a lot of draft feedback from Twitter the last couple days, anyone or any team can be good or bad or a winner or loser depending on where you look.

Other than the fact that the Falcons just signed him, should Cousins really be surprised they did this? He's not exactly a spring chicken.

I think he should be and stand by it was a stupid pick. They’ve addressed numerous offensive positions in the first round the last three years with Robinson, London, and Pitts. They could have addressed their miserable defense with whatever player they felt was the best. And they had to have known going in that was a possible scenario with all the QBs, WRs, Alt slated to be picked ahead of them. 

Instead it’s “let’s get this guy we’re going to need him in 2-4 years when he’ll be 27.” 

I understand following the Green Bay model but can we see more than one year of them and Love being successful before we mimic it? 

There’s some people, mainly on the Falcons subreddit, defending the pick because Cousins is old and technically you can get rid of that contract after two years anyways and by that time Penix will be ready to start.

Meanwhile your star QB you just signed a couple months ago is completely blindsided by all of this so that’s great work.

So sick of hearing losing teams complain about officiating. Philly loses, complains. LA loses, complains. NY loses tonight (after getting multiple beneficial calls allowing them to win game two), complains. What’s the end game? Your team shoots 25 free throws and the other team shoots none?

Buffalo badly needs a WR, trades back multiple times to out of the first round completely, three more receivers get selected in mean time.
