Thought I'd put this here, since it's where 90% of the posters reside...I'm going to follow S&L's lead and bid adieu to OC--the pompousness of (just) a couple of the guys on here has gotten nauseating, and quite frankly, I see enough of that in my day-to-day business dealings.
Justin, thank you for providing a forum to not only discuss sports, but to gain information and insight on topics that I otherwise wouldn't have. I appreciate your efforts, and wish you continued success with this site.
BR1986FB, you seem like an intelligent guy, and if you weren't so full of yourself, maybe people would take you more seriously.
Laley....no, I better not--and I'll leave it at that...
So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, goodbye...and Go Browns & Buckeyes!!!

heading to the Land right now, and hopefully to see a W...btw, BR, thank god there isn't a Bosa playing for the Seahawks-amirite?
I listen to an NFL picks podcast. The three hosts are all Canadian and have no bias in this. They thought it was very weird that Bosa still had a grudge about a college game 2 years prior, the same way I do. Saying Baker being himself 2 years prior has caused Bida to lose space in his head thinking about him all this time.
And for the record anyway, Bosa didn’t get revenge. He got a win in a regular season NFL game. Baker got a win propelling Oklahoma to the CFP and eliminated OSU from real contention that week.

One must lower the expectations when going to a Browns game. People there dress up like dogs and bark.
^^^^ That about sums it up. Something just doesn't seem right. He's not going to be Tom Brady but he's nowhere near as bad as he was last night or against Tennessee. I know this has likely been mentioned but I think a lot of this has to do with OBJ. I think he's pressing to get Beckham his catches and it's affecting the way he surveys the field.
posted by BR1986FBNobody's happy about the Browns getting embarrassed on national TV and you're over here giving fellatio to an opposing player because he was a Buckeye. On this thread, I think people are a little more concerned about the state of the Browns than a former Buckeye. Take it to the OSU thread, Niners fan.
just to fuck with you, BR, and I'll post it where it belongs...right here..and btw, S&L was right--you ARE a weird duck
SANTA CLARA — Rookie Nick Bosa is the first 49ers defensive lineman in nearly 15 years to win NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors. In his words, he couldn’t care less.
What Bosa did relish was the reaction from fellow Ohio State alumni for Monday night’s dismantling — and flag-planting celebration — against Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns.
“That was the real thing. We wanted some revenge there,” Bosa said Wednesday, alluding to Mayfield’s antics in leading Oklahoma over Ohio State. “All my older guys I played with hit me up and said, ‘Good job.’ ”
Among those who reached out were fellow pros Tyquan Lewis (Indianapolis Colts), Marshon Lattimore (New Orleans Saints), Tracy Sprinkle (Houston Texans) and Jalyn Holmes (Minnesota Vikings).
I’m also not sure I want my players holding a 2 year grudge carrying over from college. Pretty weird that Bosa has a hard on that big for Baker after all this time. Like, maybe don’t let him whoop your ass at home in college if you’re going to be stuck on it for the next 800 days lol
At least vball is no longer hiding he isn’t a real Browns fan. What a weird flex he is demonstrating in this thread.

Who gives a fuck about Nick Bosa? If you're going to slobber on his nuts, go root for San Francisco. You'd think this was a 49er's thread with the way you're going on & on about him.

lol--gfy, and fuck Mayfield too--Nick Bosa kicked his ass every which way, and maybe, just maybe, this will humble our #1 pick to keep his mouth shut and play football...and fwiw, I gaf about Bosa--at least he's proving why he was drafted as high as he was, something our two (Mayfield and Ward) have not.

Lol. Nice.
Scariest: "The Serpent And The Rainbow". Honorable Mention: "Dead Silence"
For fun Halloween-type flicks I'm partial to:
- "13 Ghosts" (1960) - why, the original, of course!
- "You'll Find Out" (1940) - only time Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, and Peter Lorre appeared together
- "The Ghost Breakers" (1940) - Bob Hope, sans Bing
- "Scared Stiff" (1953) - a remake of The Ghost Breakers, but Martin and Lewis make it fun
- "Murder In The Blue Room" (1944) - a fun re-make of "Secret Of The Blue Room (1933)
- House On Haunted Hill (1959) - Vincent Price, Elisha Cook, and walking skeletons? Yess!
Bonus - "The Screaming Skull" (1958) - a schoolmate of mine told me about this back in third grade, and a scene where a skull actually rolls on the ground and chases a woman. I remember thinking I'd probably pee myself in fright if I actually saw that. Finally did see it on TCM a few years back.. Talk about cheesy - but the scene where the skull "chases" was just like my buddy said. Glad I waited a while to see it, lol.
posted by Laley23For the most part, I just think the TV experience is far superior to the in-game.
...and therein lies my dilemma--I don't think watching a game on TV is an "experience", but in your line of work I can see why you do. Being at the game is the experience, and nothing on TV can mimic that. Nothing.
I'm a Browns fan, but an even bigger OSU fan...this was fricking AWESOME!!!

Oh god, OBJ, what did you do...we are so fucking bad...
To hell with the Browns, I’m staying awake just to watch Bosa...damn, he’s fucking killing us! Lol

Also, where is the D?
lol, as in DEFENSE? what a joke, all the way around...and that goes for the pussy d-backs who are constantly on the DL as well
Nick Bosa is not human—and who said revenge can’t be a motivation? Remember when you ‘planted’ that flag, Baker?? Maybe he should stop shooting commercials and start playing football...just a thought.
Baker is playing like complete dick. And kitchens is a dumbass thinking that a TE can stop Bosa. That is just plain stupid
