Yet pushed on the other 99%. Not good math.
And as far as Tulsi is concerned, I ain't mad at it.

No; we need to eliminate the DoE.
posted by ptown_trojans_1Will all come down to how much authority they have. Unless it comes with real teeth from Congress, and Congress passes their recommendations, won't really change things.
Congress controls the purse strings and now especially post Chevron, the regulations power.
DOGE may well end up in the dustbin of history with all previous government efficiency commissions.
Probably true; the monster is too big, the swamp too deep. It will take full on calamity/depression to whack government, which is sad because we could cut 25% and no one would know it happened.

Last time around he listened to too many insiders and establishment types --- basically had to since he was a complete outsider. Now that that is out of the way; he can go with the right people, hopefully, right out of the gate now.

Exactly; he was great the last time around too.
Looks like Rubio for Sec of State / Lee Zeldin at EPA / and Noem for DHS.
Paulson took himself out of Treasury consideration.
Also Susie Wiles for Chief of Staff - first ever female............... so much for Mark Cuban's asinine comment.

Biden has 0 reason to do anything to benefit Kamala. It’s so funny because it also demeans whoever the real first woman president would be that actually earned it. They’re all a bunch of babies.
posted by Trueblue23That can’t be true, I’ve been told they are the party of the working class. As the liberal art degreed snobs blame the non college educated for losing the election.I'm shocked the elitist party lost.

The 20,000,000 extra votes doesn’t help a lot. Nothing fishy.
In the grand scheme of things not many really rode it out. This election wasn’t close.
Kamala and the Dems are better losers if you want that noted. You should print up some shirts on that.
They better run and hide after squandering over 1 BILLION dollars on her, and spending millions and millions on celebrity endorsements and faux concerts. Astounding really.
posted by Dr Winston O'BoogieHarris has done zero contesting of the results. We know that would not have happened had the voting gone the other way. Several posters in here insisted she’d hold up the results by immediately suing if she lost.
You'd think they'd put up more of a fight if the other side is literally Hitler. Odd.
It's almost like that was bullshit the entire time
posted by gutThe lawfare is the biggest reason I voted for Trump. Somewhere in the bowels of this thread when that began I mentioned something along that line. That perceived as being successful was the real "threat to democracy" in this election. The total and complete repudiation of it is a long term win. I do agree with you going after this type of corruption brings on the possibility of "fighting fire with fire."And while Trump's plan to go after corruption and the deep state sounds good to many, it's also rife for the type of abuse the left claims to fear (though it would be hard to top their lawfare pursuits).
