How big of a POS is ESPN trying to make Ryan Miller feel like?

If the guy wants a night off let him have it.

ESPN doesn't know shit when it comes to hockey.

Miller deserves a rest for more than one game, he played his heart out the entire tournament. Let him rest.

What happened to Melrose, btw? Did they force him to take a leave around the gold medal game so that if Canada lost, he wouldn't off himself on live TV?

And yes, ESPN is dumb for talking about how Miller is sitting. Dude just started nine games in a row (three with the Sabres, six at the Olympics) and they want him to go for number 10 tonight. Eff that.

Would seemingly be a good night to market the NHL to a country that is "discovering" hockey, again. Crosby facing Miller two days after the OT Gold Medal game. However, I knew that unfortunatley Miller would have to sit tonight. The dude needs a break, what the hell do they expect???

Miller is not good against PGH in the first place, but after the physically and emotionally draining Olympic experience, there's no way that playing Miller would be the right move......

Plus this game will only be seen in PGH and BUF anyhow, and everyone in those markets would be watching, regardless.....

The Pens-Sabres game isn't even on national TV ... right? I think Versus is showing two different games tonight anyhow.

I know it's hard to believe, but Versus does exist (not on DirecTV of course ...)

That NJ-SJ game should be a good one, but given the Olympics I would've thought they'd move the Pens-Sabres to national. Ah well.
