Joaquin Phoenix totally sold that scene (along with the timely music). I hope M.Night's next movie is better than his last two bombs.

Signs is still the only movie that creeps me out, especially when they are in the basement and the alien reaches in through the coal trap.

That didn't get a reaction out of me when I watched the movie. I know a few people who were really creeped out by it.

I just remember a big group of us went and saw Signs in the theater and we all left saying we needed to see something like a Disney movie because we were all freaked out, guys and chicks.

I also freaked out in the scene when the Alien was trapped in the pantry at Ray's house. I was just waiting for Mel Gibson to see the guy in there but it still freaked me out when he saw the reflection off the knife and the alient stuck his fingers out underneath the door.

I'd have to think hard to remember the last time I was truly creeped out by a movie. It's unfortunate because I really love it when a movie is able to get to me, it's just a difficult task.

The answer is the original Candyman.

I got shivers when the girl said candyman 5 times into the mirror.

I thought Signs was awful. The aliens, who are destroyed by water, come to a planet that is 75% water. They can travel across space but weren't smart enough to figure that out.

You didn't like "The Sixth Sense" or "Unbreakable"? I actually thought "Unbreakable" was the best and most underrated of his movies.

I don't think that was even the creepiest scene in the movie. The scene where Bo (the little girl) says "there's a monster outside my window, can I have a glass of water" and then Mel Gibson looks out the window and there is a figure on top of the barn, that is the creepiest scene for me in the movie.

hahaha good point.

i also dont think this was the creepiest scene in the movie. either what dwccrew said or right near the end when they think the aliens are gone and all of a sudden you see the reflection of one on the tv.

God, I couldn't even watch that clip. As soon as i saw what it was I closed it. I love that movie and I don't think it gets enough credit.

It was funny, scary, a little sad. It was great.

I would actually have to say that it is my all-time fav. I love aliens movies they creep me the fuck out....

THIS! One of the greatest horror movies of all time. The end is just fucking insane as far as delivering a strong feeling of impending doom. Dude's saying his ex-girl's name and you just know what's going to happen...but you still jump when it does!
