With level 2 snow and more snow coming what is everyone doing about practice. Our kids come from all over so travel is not good. Do you have a policy for your team, Does your district have a policy?

No practice here today in CW(directive from the Superintendent) ....now some of our kids are going to be hitting the roads in search of a workout facility. I don't like it....some kids who live within view of the school will now be out on the roads.

Don't understand why they can't make it optional.....everyone's specific situation is unique.

I know safety is the number one priority, but some common sense needs to be in play here.

Anyone in our area have room for a few more kids in their room today?

Columbus City will not allow practice on snow days al all. Coaches are being fired for even having kids cime in. Thank God yesterday was a holiday and we got a good hard workout in. I am sending my guys to thier local rec center for som cardio and mat work...Marion Franklin rec center. If that is closed it is a day full of shoveling.

We've only closed twice in the last 12 yrs I've been with the Dept. I'm sure you're safe! Why not shovel anyway?

Imagine the look on someone's face when they see 15 wrestlers with shovels coming to their rescue.
Good workout.
Good PR.
Good karma.

Isn't that right Sackerdrag.

well... he had to shovel out his car and part of our driveway in order to get a practice. So... he got a workout in before he gets a workout in. But he hasn't wrestled (competed) since January 23rd. Hoping to get another workout in tonight. Now I'm off to find someone with a blade on their truck to finish shovelling the drive!

no practice for Teays dad4sports. Just got the word. I agree, I think they fail to think about how many kids will then be out on the roads trying to find somewhere to work out.

Snow day practices are at 1 o'clock. Of course that could probably change for really bad situations but I never had it changed while I was in high school.
