Can we assume that The Cruiser Team will be in attendance?

Hope Licking Heights can squeeze this one into their schedule.
Heights has Tri Wednesday, MSL Saturday....so maybe Coach Ramsey will let us know.

Nah, dawg. The Cruisers have decided to host there own 10-team tournament; The Mac Sims Invitational. We'll shoot for 8-man pools with the top 2 coming out to create a semi and final. If it comes to it, we'll go 2, 5-man pools and just bring out the similars (1st vs. 1st, 2nd vs. 2nd, 3rd vs. 3rd.).

The emphasis will be on getting 5 matches. At least, that's what I'll be shooting for.

I posted this from ohiowrestling.net. I doubt Eddie knows about this site. He gives me a shirt just about every year, so I figured I owed him.

Did this event take place last night?

If so, any results?

Below is a link to coverage from local newspaper.

Essentially, Pick North dominated the dual format going 5-0. Licking Valley finished second at 4-1. Heath followed at 3-2, Watkins 2-3, & not sure who won between Dublin Scioto & Groveport.

Very solid tourney for Drumm. The article failed to mention that prior to the Justus match he beat '09 state qualifier Kwan Bailey of Groveport 10-6. Two back-to-back very solid wins!

Travis Drumm = (personal) MOW. They didn't have this award, but Travis deserves it HANDS DOWN!

The win over Kwan was an well-wrestled match. Smart; methodical, even. Kept the distance and did the right thing at the right time to ensure points.

The win over Justus was a hard-nosed 6 minutes of brawling, followed by an OT session that ended about halfway through with Drumm securing 2 points for the takedown.

Great job Heath boys. I enjoy watching the results and look forward to watching you at the Schott!
