This will be a heart break weekend. This district is way top heavy compared to any other district. I look at my freshman twins opponents at 119 and 140 and it looks very tough to win . They will have to be at their best. I feel for any senior that loses that go to match and relizes they just wrestled thier last wrestling match. Very tough. Mean while far weaker wrestlers go to state from other districts but who said life is fair. The up side is kids from our district will be seperated at state.

The cut to 130 killed him. He was sick , struggled with school,ect... He has always done better wrestling heavy ( he won freestyle and greco states at 140) . He's already been like nite and day since going to 140 and is having fun again , lifting and eating all he wants. I think he will peak when he needs to at district. Its still going to be a battle at 140.

112 is definatly one of the toughest weight classes at this brutal districts. You got Dronzek, Spreng, Grier, Spangler, Pizzuto, Retay, Harter.... Dronzek Pizzuto and retay were state placers as well as spreng a state qualifier. Grier only a freshmen last year was a state qualifier as well.
