Great to hear. Prime example of never giving up.

I like the story of never giving up. The Pro Bowl has become a joke recently though. Manning, Roethlisgerger, Brady, Palmer are all out of the game. Vince Young making this game makes it a joke!! if he makes it next year on merit, Im OK with that.

Holy shit, I agree with you. You can add Rivers to that list. Back in the day, the players went for the money. Nowadays the money they get for attending is nothing compared to their salary. I haven't watched a pro bowl in 15 yrs, and dont plan on watching this one.
Who are the qbs for the afc? Young, Quinn, Russell?

I would think having it in miami would make it less attractive for players to wanna go. I mean..its miami..nothing ike a week out in Hawaii. PLayers would take teammates, families and such as a vacation/appreciation of their effort and it was basically a free vacation for them!

I think the location has a lot less to do with it than with it being before the Super Bowl. I just don't understand what the league is thinking, because they don't know who the Super Bowl teams are yet, so they don't know who will even be eligible to play.

And when you have two teams that will lose this week, you think those players want to head right to Miami for a week of practice and an exhibition game?

^^true...bu that last part is no different than the two teams in the SB playing a week after that game.

As for having the weekn in between..at first I hated the idea but it is kinda growing on me. Like the official start of SB week.

Players quit playing in this game when it was still in Hawaii too. One of the reasons they changed it. Capone, BTW, Vince Young IS one the AFC QB. I think u meant who is the NFC QB.

Reason it was changed was because the contract was up with Hawaii and they couldnt agree with a new one. NFL basicall said 'fine, we'll sohw ya' and left town for a bit.
