I have a theory that one can predict the Super Bowl match-up simply by figuring out what the storyline or sort of backdrop to the big game will be.
Last year's was Wisenhunt vs. the team that passed him over for the head coaches job.
The bus goes home to win Super Bowl Xtra Lrg. in his final hoorah.
The Giants, faced with the decision to rest their starters or try to end the Pats undefeated season. Though their starters couldn't bring down the mighty Patriots, they played so well as to give them the confidence to ultimately end NE's dream season in the Super Bowl.
The PATRIOTS, in light of 9/11, announced not as individuals, but as a team, overcome impossible odds to beat the greatest show on turf.
You get the idea. So, what will it be this year??? Will the Sherriff get his man and ride off into the sunset in all of his glory? Will he take down another former employer on the way?
Will Archie's most winningest son go up against his father's former club and perennial loser, New Orleans???? Or will it be something else???
