Lebron James is the greatest player to have ever picked up a basketball, but this article is lame and pointless.

I love Bill Simmons!

I honestly think he'd forget to shower and eat though if Lebron actually ended up in LA.

I like Simmons a lot, but this is quickly becoming a tradition for him (an article about LeBron after he plays the Clippers). Who can forget last year's article where he had the timeline of the Clippers blowing the game? Simmons loves LeBron and talks him up any time he can. There's been several instances of him writing articles begging LeBron to consider the Clippers.

As a Clippers season ticket holder, I don't blame him one bit.

Did he say the NJ Nets, at 3-35, with no other additions, would win 55 games with LeBron James? I am a cavs and LBJ fan, but that comment it ridiculous!!

No it's not. One could possibly make the case that the Nets have a better supporting cast and a team setup for the future more so than the Cavs do.

You've got some very promising young players in Lopez, Jianlian, and Douglas Roberts and an established player in Devin Harris. Put Lebron on that team and they are no doubt a playoff team.

a playoff team could win 45 games. I just dont think they win 55. I disagree LBJ could turn NJ into a 45 game winner too though.

I'm with dynasty. Take away LeBron and how many games does this Cavs team win? 15? Put him on the Nets with all those complementary pieces, that team would win a lot of games and most certainly contend for the East. Remeber when the Cavs made the Finals with Eric Snow, Sasha Pavlovic, Z, Drew Gooden, etc

Only because the East is very weak except for 3 teams.

Obviously the West is the better conference, especially top to bottom, but I would argue that as a whole the NBA is a little down this year. I only see 4 teams with a legit chance of getting to the Finals. However 3 of those teams are in the East and 1 is in the West

Thats because the lakers are in the West.
SA,Dallas,Denver,Phoenix and Portland would have just as much chance in the East as Cleveland,Boston and Orlando.

Yeah because MY BEST GUESS at how many games the Cavs would win without him is gospel. haha. Who knows how many they'd win. Mark it down the Nets, Knicks, WNBA team etc would all make the playoffs the second LeBron suited up for them.

Well don't fucking agree with someone who said the Nets role players are better than the Cavs role players, then put up your "best guess" at 15 wins, when the Nets have 3 fucking wins.

My bad. I guess I should have probably stated that I only agreed with parts of his post or certain ideas. My main point was that no matter where LeBron plays, including the Nets; that team would win a lot of games. (Disclaimer: I do not think the Nets supporting cast is better than Cleveland's)

Cavs would be a 5 seed w/out LeBron. The Nets would win 35-40 games with LeBron. I love LBJ and he is better than Bryant....but these statements by the author are bull.
