As the originator of the "Shaq vs." series, you know he means it. He knows what people want to see, and by making it a charity, makes it harder for those involved to discount the idea. Gotta love Shaq.

Why would the current line-up be no competition for Lebron? He's not a real creative dunker. His name might win it for him though.

I love the idea, and I think most people feel this way. But it's their choice to participate or not, and for whatever reasons they choose not to.

The thing I hate is when they cite injury as the reason for not participating. How many of these guys stay after practice an extra few minutes to practice dunking? How many are playing in the All Star game and risking injury?

I wonder if he talked to the King. Sounds like he did calling him his client and all.
I would like to see him but I am not mad if he doesn't compete.

This is for the people who say Vince is no longer the same dunk he once was. This took place just last summer.

Idk about Kobe bc of his finger and VC is gettin up there in age and isnt exactly as healthy as he once was.

If i had to pick who id wanna see in the contest itd be

Josh Smith
Jr Smith
Lebron James(because hes the biggest name in the NBA and said he would)
Andre Iguadala

Im sure im forgettin 1 or 2 who do creative dunks in games and are real high flyers

I wish James White had made a roster....He alone would make the dunk contest worth while.
