That is why I don't understand why they don't shut him down for a while. I know they want the overall #1, but they are a team that doesn't necessarily need it to win a championship.
Because a week off won't do anything, he would need a month or two for it to heal
Taking off a month isn't going to kill their chances at winning a championship, however him not getting it fixed may hurt them come playoff time.

That's what he does when healthy. His finger wasn't a problem early when the Cavs weren't playing defense. He isn't going to hurt the finger any worse than it already is, so he might as well play.

So if he is down a month, that would be about 12 games or so. You don't think they could stay afloat with the rest of that roster.

Not a good way for the Lakers to start their 8 game roader, great way for the Cavs to start a long home stretch. Look for the best overall record to switch here in 10 days or so if not sooner.

Solid win without Mo but the late game offense is dreadful to watch. I dont understand how Mike Brown can watch those possessions and think that its good basketball. I know that he was hitting his jumpers but Lebron holding onto the ball for 20 seconds and chucking up a long jumper is a terrible possession. Anyways, beating the Lakers at full strength without Mo is impressive.

Ill pat myself on the back here.
LA ends up 15-24 from the line. Costs them the game. Someone called this at hallftime.

Won't get close.....that award also includes turning down every piece of ass ever offered.

SMH at AC Green.

LeBron has clearly improved his outside shot.

I think in the past he settled for it too often and was more confident with that fade back three than he should've been.

It was almost as if he thought he was equally as dangerous doing that or driving and it wasn't the case. Teams would've rather just let him chuck it. They still do but it's getting to be much closer as far as pick your poison.

The thing that baffles me is how people use Kobe's finger as an excuse! It didn't bother him during that 1st quarter did it?

In the two games against Cleveland, Kobe is 23/63 shooting the ball.. That is TERRIBLE.

The game means little though. Hopefully these two teams fight it out in June, because that would be amazing.

I'm very impressed with the Cavs tonight though. Great defense and great will to win by LeBron and Shaq w/o Mo..

Also, anybody who complains about Mike Brown or Shaq after this game, GTFO.

Mike Brown didn't do anything to help win this game. He didn't get the guards involved without Mo, and he allowed another lead to collapse at the end, giving up 7 straight points while the team stood and watched bron shoot jumpers.

It was nice to see JJ return to early season form

Hb31187,

I was thinking the same thing. Must have been a slow night. lol.

LeBron v. Kobe in the championships would be great, as I don't think I'd like to see us having to play the Nuggets.

I don't like it when they shut down the offense in the last 3 to 4 minutes and everyone watches LeBron. We may win but if we make the championship I think it works against us. Need to keep everyone involved. JMO That kind of play scares me.

Quiet from Laker land...

No doubt who the MVP is. Kobe is hurting his team when he goes 12-31, no surprise that he's frustrated with teammates too. Great adjustments by the Cavs defense last night and a great overall win. That'd be like the Lakers beating the Cavs without Gasol and we all know how that would go--the Lakers suck without Gasol, he is the MVP of that team if you ask me...

if LeBron broke his finger he would be filing for worker's comp. look no further than how he reacted when he airballed a 3 when the crowd was chanting "MVP" (which was swagger jacked from the Staples Center).

Kobe played 82 games + finals, olympics (where he single handidly won the gold medal game when the Americans were about to shit down their legs), 82 games + won the finals, + hasn't missed a game this season.

kobe is a warrior. the lakers will be back.

cavs fans can have the noise in january. we will take it in june.

just like last year.
