That'd be the worst joke of the century, considering Gerhart is a 3rd round pick, at best.

They picked Touchdown Tommy at 8. I think Toby has more of an upside than that

It's a completely different game than when Tommy Vardell was playing. It's much faster, and more physical.

Toby Gerhart is a 2 down North/South runner and offers no help in pass blocking. He's short yardage.

He's a 3rd round pick at best.

A) It's not a totally different game, because
B) Tommy had no success, because
C) He was a 3rd round pick at best type player, but due to
D) NFL Scouting wasn't as good as it was back then, athough..
E) That could be argued that combine-freak don't = success such as,
F) Vernon Gholston

What top 10 Browns pick has panned out?

I was obviously joking about taking him.

But you have a slow stanford runningback.. just ironic :)

I have seen projections were they take a DE from Penn State (Jared Odrick) with their 2nd round pick, but no QB from Notre Dame, FB from Stanford or DT from Florida.

If they don't trade down, I'm guessing it will be the best defensive player available, like Berry or McClain or possibly Haden.

When the Browns chose Vardell, it was a whole different franchise, let alone regime, in charge.

For once since their renewal, I think the Browns have the front office right. I have every confidence they'll draft just fine this year.

No one from Penn State. The Browns do not need another Courtney Brown. Very few Nittany Lions are successful in the NFL anymore.

I don't think that Eric Berry will be available when they pick.
