A shame, I was looking forward to seeing what he could do in the NBA. Sounds like he may be headed down the #1 pick bust road, it will be interesting to see if he still has it after a year off.

Wow, that stinks. I won't label him a bust yet, especially since Oden has shown flashes of brilliance despite having a career plagued with injuries.

Sucks for people who drafted him in fantasy basketball and have been sitting on him all year.

Bill Simmons called this a long time ago. He said right before he got drafted that the Clippers jinx was going to get him

No way he turns out to be a complete bust. Just way to talented.

Wow, Im SHOCKED Eric Gordon has had as much success as he has with the Clippers. He might be the ONLY draft pick of theirs to ever come close to working out....

No WAY you can call him a bust at all. He hasn't played a game yet. He may come back and be able to stay healthy, who knows. But there is no reason to call him a bust yet--that's extremely premature. I'm not even ready to call Oden a bust, he's only a bust because of what other guys in his class have done but if he can stay healthy (obviously a big if at this point but it's not like it can't happen) I still think he'll be good. He's shown his ability in his limited playing time.

Is this the same injury that Greg Oden has? Man if I was a star I wouldn't want to be the #1 pick. Hasn't worked out so good for these guys.

I don't think you can call him a bust yet either, but his bust % has gone up considerably with this news, IMO. I hope he's able to come back in the 2010-2011 season and be good/great.
