Congrats Poochie!!! You deserve it. Charles is a great player who doesn't seem to be a talker anymore, or get in any trouble in the NFL scene. Seems to be a quiet person playing great ball.

I thought Revis would surely get it, but Woodson is deserving. Very impressive that he is able to play at such a high level at his age.

How does Revis not get it?

Oh well, although a UM guy, I always liked Woodson. Honestly, I was sad to see him leave my Raiders but I knew the organization and staff was holding him back there.

Apparently they voted before the playoff game. Charles would have won the burnt toast award after their playoff loss.

Revis had one of the best seasons for a CB of all-time. Unfortunately he didn't lead Woodson in the "sexy" stats.

First Woodson steals the Heisman from Manning. Now he steals the defensive MVP from Revis.

Enlighten me, how did he do either/or, but especially the former? Woodson showed up BIG in big games; Manning crapped himself silly in big games. Heck, Tee Martin helped win the Vols a National Title the following season.

Woodson was the best player in the country when he won the Heisman and most no one will argue that. He was a great force this year for the Packers and is very deserving of the award.

Steals the Heisman from Peyton? Shut up!

Being burnt in the play-offs, how about Offensive pass interference??? I bet those will get called vs. the Vikings

The only player they may have deserved it was Revis.....but can't be mad at that pick

After all, he is from O-H-I-O!

Poochie. Now there's a name for Charles I haven't heard in a while. I remember watching him in 7th grade b-ball throwing down dunks.

Imo I can never give the Heisman to a primarly defensive guy. Just my opinion there. I thought he won the Heisman because Espn kept showing the interception he had against MSU. It was a great play, a really great play , but still was only one play. He had a great against OSU also. I'm not into the winning the big game when it comes to Heisman. It takes a team to win a big game and imo Manning deserved the Heisman that year. As far as this year Revis is the best defensive player in football. He has shut down every receiver hes played and turned the Jets into a powerful defense. Woodson had a good year but imo Revis did more for his team and deserved the award.
