This year doesn't really count since it's after the 2009 season.

Starting in 2010 which team will win the most Super Bowls in the next decade?

I think Pittsburgh may get one more with Roethlisberger but that would be it.

I would say N.Y. Jets or Baltimore Ravens.

Jets will always have a good defense with Rex Ryan, Shon Greene is going to be a stud for the next decade and they have the QB in Sanchez.

Baltimore will need to fill some spots defensively but they draft well and have the QB in Flacco and RB in Rice.

The safest bet would be the Steelers.

My sleeper pick will be Tennessee. No real reason other than I believe they have the best head coach in football.

Baltimore Ravens.
I'm not sure you can replace what Ray Lewis and Ed reed bring to the table.

It will be hard to say Baltimore because we don't know how much longer Ray Lewis will play. He is the driving force on that team and Flacco still has a lot to prove.

A sleeper team could be the Cardinals. Yeah, I said it....The Cardinals! They are young and if ownership don't mess up as they did previous decades, they could make some noise.

The team of the decade in the last four decades has drafted their quarterback in either the 9 or 0 year.

Terry Bradshaw 1970
Joe Montana 1979
Troy Aikman 1989
Tom Brady 2000

So if that trend continues it bodes well for Sanchez being that guy or a QB drafted in this upcoming draft.

+1 on the Cardinals, particularly if Leinhart picks up where Warner will leave off. They are young at WR, RB and on defense. They fill in a few wholes on the offensive line and on defense and they will be unstoppable.

Also, if history is consistent the Raiders will go to the Super Bowl at least once this next decade. They have been to a Super Bowl every decade since the sixties.

I don't think the Cardinals are a bad bet at all...that was my first thought when I saw the thread. Good coaching staff, already tasted the postseason, and some quality young players. Leinert handling the clipboard for a great veteran now.

I also would consider the Giants. Eli's best years are still to come I believe.

I like the way non thinks. I like the identity that Rex Ryan brings to the Jets. I won't say that they'll be the best team of the decade but I would be very surprised if they don't win a Super Bowl in the next 3 or 4 years.

I like the Cardinals pick. Leinart should be taking over next year. Fitzgerald will be there for a while, Bouldin, and if he leaves, they still got Breaston and Ducet. Beanie Wells, a strong young defense. They'll be there for a few years. And Wisenhunt is an excellent young coach

I think the Cards and Jets both get one in the next 5 years.

Green Bay looks to be good for the next few years as well, as long as they improve on defense.

Cards will be good if they keep Warner around a few more years but Leinart sucks.

I think Green Bay and Houston are in excellent positions. Baltimore will fall off the radar once Lewis and Reed are done, Rice is a great player....I just don't see it with Flacco.

I agree with the Cardinals as they are just loaded and young. Even if Leinart falters, they'll do what they did with Warner and find a guy in FA.

Problem with picking the Steelers is it's hard to see Ben playing more than 5 years because I think concussions will cut his career short.

Peyton and Brady are probably also done in 5 years.

It's really hard to project anyone else. Rodgers is only about 2 years younger than Ben. Maybe GB is a darkhorse because in 10 years, Rodgers would be 36, on the tail end of his career but coming into his prime. Sanchez is way too early to make predictions.

I had a much higher opinion of Flacco, but he certainly had his struggles this year.

Matt Ryan maybe? Otherwise, I don't see that guy to lead a dynasty. I might defer to Non and say that guy might be drafted this year.

Ehhh, put me down for there will be no dynasty in this decade. We may not even see a repeat SB winner if you say Manning, Rivers, Ben, Rodgers and Brady could each win one in the next decade.

I'll second this because I'm biased, but here is some logic to back it up.

They have a trio of young backs and if they can manage to hold on to two of them, they are set. Romo isn't old so he has a few more years left. They will have to be ready to replace their line at some point. Jason Witten will retire sometime this decade, but I like how Bennett and Phillips play. They have young, talented receivers.

Their secondary is pretty young, but they'll need to draft another good one. Their front seven should hold strong for a bit and if they continue to draft well(no more Bobby Carpenters) they could be successful this next decade.

The Vikings. They are putting a all-star lineup together. 9 pro bowlers this year, 3 more then any other team.

Well, keep in mind if the salary cap goes permanently bye-bye any prediction other than a handful of the obvious teams becomes completely worthless.

How are the Steelers the safe choice? They just missed the playoffs and lost to the Browns. I'd have to go with Dallas.

Well, Peyton still has another good 5 years in him. If he pulls a Favre and plays forever, AND at a fairly high level the Colts will continue to win.
