If the Jaguars take Tebow at number 10 they are sealing their faith to LA.

The Walter football is kind of a douche and really not too accurate. I do check his page out because it's the first one that comes up when you google "2010 nfl mock draft"

He may not be accurate but Haden is looking like the best pick for the Browns at 7, unless somebody falls or Holmgren decides to make a trade.

I don't know, I really don't see the Redskins picking Bradford. I could be wrong, but I think Shanahan tries to coach Campbell up and in the mean time takes a flier on a mid-round QB.

Also if the Jaguars draft Tim Tebow @ #10 they are finished for the next 5 years. I'm not saying he can't play in the NFL, I'm just saying you can get him much later. How many NFL QBs have come from this sort of offense and had a whole lot of success? I can't think of many. Taking snaps from under center is worlds different from taking them in the gun.

Quite the opposite. A lot of people see the Jags taking Tebow in an attempt to bring in fans. If they don't take Tebow, I'd say that signals they will bolt to L.A.

winning gets fans into the stadium. Taking a guy who is going to set your franchise back (if you pick him in the 1st round) in a stupid ploy and ensuring more mediocrity could be the final blow for the franchise.

One of the first daggers the Jaguars inserted into themselves was hiring Jack Del Rio. The guy is way in over his head.

Tebow sells tickets and who says he sets them back? Ginn went #10 and I could see Tebow having more value than Ginn.

Even if he only plays 10-15 snaps a game, he might be worth justifying with the first round pick.

I wouldn't do it, but the Jags need to sell tickets if they don't want to move.

this mock lost all credibility with Carlos Dunlap not only dropping into the second but the browns passing on him......even with the DUI he is a first round pick...no way in hell he drops that far

I love this mock, follow walterfootball every thursday for updates. I don't think we will be taking a DE very high this year, with some of the better ones electing to return to school, I think its an area we will improve via free agency/later in the draft, and complete early next season if we have to. As for the Carlos Dunlap thing, he isn't projected to be a 3-4 guy is the reason we pass on him. Odrick is built to be a 3-4 end, its a low risk pick, where Dunlap is a boom or bust type selection. I wouldn't mind Dunlap, but I wouldn't cry if we didn't get him. My personal favorite option would be to trade down a little in the second, and get some additional talent, or take Arthur Jones, who was the #1 rated 3-4 end until he got injured.

I don't see the Browns passing on Rolando to grab Joe Haden. Yes, we need another corner badly, but we need a sledgehammer at ILB, a Patrick Willis/Ray Lewis, if you will.

Either way, I wouldn't complain if we landed Haden. I think he's an amazing talent, but I'm more partial to McClain, and his position. McClain and D'Qwell behind Rogers, Coleman, Odrick/Williams, etc. Wowzers.

The Browns did pass on Percy Harvin AND the USC LB, so I wouldnt put it past them to screw up again.

Haden is the best possible pick at #7

We now have an excellent center, so we really didn't screw up.

Exactly, last year's draft was not that bad. Alex Mack was an excellent pick up!

I'd rather see a LB ahead of a DB. But either way, i'm excited for this year's draft.

I didnt mean that i wanted the browns to take Dunlap but i did mean to point out the fact that there's no chance in hell that he falls out of the first round. Period. Discussion over. As for the poster above, I dare to question any knowledgeable draft expert if they thought Harvin would have turned out to be as big as he was. The fact of the matter was that while he has great speed, he played in a gadget offense and was not a polished WR. Shit, i remember him getting more handoffs than catches. As for the USC linebackers almost every LB had questions marks. Everyone thought Cushing's was a roid head (i still do), Matthews was a walk on and a DE in college, and Rey Rey (who i loved and still do) was said to be a two down linebacker.
