Man... I don't know about that. The people that I know voted for Trump supports him in every thing he says or does or Tweets. They like his combativeness, they like his controversy, they like his battles with the media and they see anybody on the left as super jokes. Everytime that the media acts like a teenager having a meltdown they laugh and want to see more of it. The media/left is not changing anybody's mind, in any way.
And here's where the DNC better have their shit put together before they put somebody up for election. If they are still playing the victimology game at that time running around with their hair on fire, you might as well stay home in '20.

98% of my friends and coworkers who voted for Trump blast him regularly. The remaining 2% are like our fellow OC Trump Fellators. He can do no wrong in their eyes, so having an actual discussion with them on anything Trump related is rather pointless.

Just put a normal fucking person in the White House. Is it that hard?

Not too far right, not too far left, not a dickhead, not someone who says all this stupid ass shit trump says. Just someone who knows what he/she is doing and will make my Facebook timeline less annoying.

I blast him at all times, but do love his battles with media. I agree with Center that he left has done nothing to pull the "middle of the roaders" back though. All they've done is focus more on identity politics, whined more, and have gone even loonier than during the election. Other than Trump hurting himself, that's all they have going for them into the 2018 elections

He has made his share of gaffes.

Draining the swamp is fraught with obstacles, challenges, and skullduggery by those being uprooted.

I finally watched the presser.

A couple notes:

1. There was violence on both sides and it was hard to tell who started what. So the POTUS stating there was violence on both sides is not an incorrect statement. It is not a PC statement, but not incorrect.

2. The biggest misstep the POTUS made was the phrase "there were good people on both sides". I am sorry Mr. President, there were good people there (bystanders, media, etc) but no KKK member, no Neo-Nazi, and no antifa are "good people". One can not hold blatantly racist views, act on them, and be a "good person". That is the type of crap that the left and moderates really, really can't stand that you (POTUS) do. Say blatantly wrong and stupid things.

How about the part where he said he likes to get all of the facts before making a statement. LOL. Since when?

Since it was part of his voting base under scrutiny. Which is essentially him showing he is more of a "true politician" than those who loved him because he was an "outsider" care to believe.

He did the same thing at the Congressional baseball practice shooting. He did not call it an act or terror in the first presser, but did a couple days later.

That wasn't a huge/damaging statement really.

NOTHING he says or does will be satisfactory to the left and their big media, ever.

Most of us have accepted that reality, and can focus on true policy actions that are desperately needed.

Called it:

Yeah, he's totally a Washington outsider.

Clinton was a politician years before she ever held office. Trump was as well.

IMO, this was not "domestic terrorism". I don't think it was pre-planned. Counter-protestors there clashing and expecting to clash - if he had fired multiple shots into the crowd, we probably would have said that's what happens when people bring guns to mob fights. But because this guy used his car as a weapon he's a domestic terrorist?

I'm not looking to debate the semantics of "domestic terrorism", but per usual the media is just looking to pile on Trump no matter what he says. He could have said some things better.

Someone committed murder, and that's very sad and unfortunate. The real story here though, and it's been going on for a while, is the left is assembling to physically silence free speech. I don't buy the these right-wing hate groups suddenly became more violent because of Trump. They remain idiots just running their mouths - they don't go to various left wing protests to stir the pot and cause trouble....they didn't go to Bernie rallies to stir the pot and cause trouble...they never stirred the pot or caused trouble at their legitimate demonstrations UNTIL the left wing nutjobs showed up and got in their faces and instigated.

If you want to nip all this in the bud, then mobs of counter protestors without a permit go to jail. KKK having a rally - just fucking ignore it. What are you hoping to accomplish spending a few hours yelling at a bunch of hopelessly ignorant pricks you've never met? WTF is wrong with people, anyway?

Ah yes, a crazy nazi right winger runs a car into a group of people and the real story here is the left is assembling to silence free speech.

Think before you post, gut.

Yes, take your own advice. You clearly did not understand the point that was being made.

This is not terrorism. You put two stupid angry mobs together and lose control, people get hurt. Yes, the real story is what is being done or needs to be done to stop this continued escalation which, in fact, requires both sides to escalate.

I don't care what they call it, but you might want to look up the definition of terrorism.

That is my point, boy. Trump doesn't have to do anything. The media is doing it for him. BTW.....6 million jobs, stock market realing and the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years. Yea he isn't doing anything like failing.

The point I think we all took was you're just another party-first guy who is trying to argue whether or not it's domestic terrorism or not (who cares?) and trying to shift blame on the media instead of blaming the alt right nutjobs who are ramming their cars into people because they disagree with their ideologies.

You mean this one:

the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims.

Sounds like what happened there to me! Even if the culprit was white and didn't worship a different god... And before anyone plays the "But..but...but...Antifa" card, looks like the only casualty at the event was courtesy of Team Nazi.

No, THEY ARE! Why else would you go to counter protest this? You don't want to see people openly support racism, then why are you there WATCHING people openly supporting racism?

Personally I think the vast majority of people who go to counter protest this garbage get off an being outraged and being able to shout at an actual face behind whatever it is they disagree with. I honestly believe there are people with a physical or emotional need to feel deeply offended - counter protestors are generally the crack addicts in that bunch.

Yes, again...let's focus on the counter protesters. Nazi salutes, blood and soil chants on college campuses...totally cool.
