The 8th annual Firehouse Classic is this Saturday at Big Walnut. This is an individual pool tournament with winners of each pool wrestling for first, and so on. We will have a real time website once again this year that will update brackets and team score throughout the day. Once the brackets and program are done, I will post the link on here. Team participating are Big Walnut, Centennial, Jonathan Alder, Galion, Licking Heights, Northmor, Paint Valley, Springfield Shawnee and Sheridan.

Although this is a small, early season tournament, we have traditionally had some great competition and studs in the gym. Through the years, we have had 84 state qualifiers and 41 state placers on the mats in Sunbury. I expect nothing different this year.

I do not know lineups yet, but I will get a preview out as soon as I can.
