My son impressed me BIG TIME last night. He went from not knowing what a trumpet was about three months ago to ascending and descending notes C through G, as well as being able to play a few songs. I have to assume it is a preference of the program. Gahanna was not there because their school scheduled team pictures on a Sunday but Coach Bentley sent nominations in with another coach. It was discussed at the meeting that this is our marquee event to promote our sport. We should have the best kids entered. It really takes away an experience for some kids and for central Ohio in general when we don't send our best. I think I heard that 18 D1 coaches were not at the meeting.
