all 3 are tremendous, but I'd go with Furnas. More consistent and hard-nosed imo.

I'd say Rahmani has been better longer, and Demas (obviously) has the chance to win more titles, but Furnas is the highest ranked nationally, having placed at Super 32 and beaten a number of other nationally-ranked kids during the past year.

Agreed. Furnas got my vote. Since it is supposed to be "best wrestler" for "this season". Hard to argue against the year he has had.

I have a wrestler that could at least be mentioned, but I don't want to sound like a certain, angry, someone else on this forum (Mead) ... Troy Caldwell (the only 2x State Champ from the Central District).

hahaha. BANG!!!

No offense, but I had to post it.

I don't want anyone's phone number to call. I don't get this paper so it's not important to me. Besides, it's just an opinion award so I won't take it to heart.

If Caldwell had been a choice, then I would've voted for him!

Impressed me when I first saw him as a sophomore (several battles against our kid Jalen Robinson)! : thumbup:

If ThisWeekNews is not dropped on the door steps in Plain City (which I don't think it is, since there is no coverage of any of their sports on the website), then Caldwell was not eligible for this particular award. No slight intended.
