Well seeing our defensive injuries we are fucked. I think we are hard pressed to win 1 or 2 more games this year.

Dansby graded out to 10.7, good for best among our defenders and the 5th best among all ILB's (behind Kuechly, Borland, Hightower, Mosley)

Sheard was 6.3, 4th best on our defense and 15th amongst 3-4 OLBs (just ahead of Orapko and Mingo).

You guys are going to roll us.
1.We just lost Alford(our other starting Cb on the worst pass D in the league) for 4-7 weeks.
2. Our Offensive line is the absolute worst in the league
3. We have absolutely no pass rush and our front 7 is if not the worst, one of the worst in the NFL
4. Mike Smith absolutely sucks, reminds me of Brady Hoke. No matter how badly things are going hes not gonna rip anybody
a new one. He just smiles and claps about it
5. SJax is fucking absolutely horrible, yet we still give him carries over Freeman, Smith and Rodgers for some god for fucking saken reason
6. Our offensive playbook is 95% Wr screens that dont work

Hell, I'll call this one. Falcons might only be 4-6 BUT are leading their division and playing at home. They will be a tough matchup for the Browns.

3 out of 5 of our starting offensive linemen are in IR and Jake Matthews has a high ankle sprain thats been bothering him all year so hes playing badly.

2 of our top 3 defensive players are on IR from an already terrible defense. And you get your best offensive players back this week. Gordon and Cameron(isnt he coming back?). The absolute only hope we have is Trufant. Hes the lone player on our defense that actually is pretty damn good, but he can only guard 1 wr at a time, meanwhile everyone else runs free. While Hoyer has 10 seconds to throw because or Dline is terrible and you have one of the better lines in the NFL

Edit, oh and Mike Smith being Mike Smith. Great Wr's and QB dont mean shit when you have .3 seconds to throw so everything is a checkdown or a sack

Well good news! Our depleted defense can't stop any RB in the league, and we give 0 pass rush.

Going forward, I see no reason to have any hope for this crappy defense. Farmer is going to need to load up on D in the upcoming draft.

I trust farmer to make the right moves. Our offense has enough pieces, time to load the defense with guys that can get to the QB.

Not to turn this into early draft talk but I think they are in pretty good shape, believe it or not, on offense. Definitely need one OL and perhaps an athletic TE, since Cameron can't be relied on. Other than that, a pass rushing OLB & DL are going to be musts. I think they can add a CB, to play opposite of Haden, in FA, if there's a legit one available.

Off topic but it sounds like the Colts are going to roll the dice on Josh Cribbs, pending a physical. Better them than us.

I don't think we make the playoffs this year, but the panic on this thread is a bit dramatic. This team is not going to completely implode like they did last year. Pettine is a much better coach than Chud and shurmur combined easily. Most of their games will be competitive.
